You can’t teach heart.

In recovery, that line hits different.
Because heart is the thing that carries you through the moments no one sees…the nights you want to give up, the days you feel stuck, the setbacks that make you question everything.

People see the progress, but they don’t always see the fails, and in this journey, fail doesn’t mean “finished.”
It means:

F – First
A – Attempt
I – In
L – Learning.

Recovery isn’t about perfection. It’s about resilience. It’s about showing up again when it would be easier not to. It’s about choosing a life you’ve never lived before and having the courage to walk into the unknown anyway. That takes heart, a heart that refuses to quit, even when it’s tired.

And here’s the truth:
Heart can’t be taught in a meeting, a program, a book or a room. Heart is built through experience… through facing yourself… through growing after every stumble… through deciding that the life you want is worth fighting for.

If you’re on this path, don’t forget what it takes to get here, the grit, the tears, the small wins, the massive courage that lives inside you.

Keep going.
Even when it’s heavy.
Even when it’s slow.
Even when the world doesn’t understand your reasons.

Because recovery isn’t easy.
But you?
You’ve got the one thing no one can hand you: heart.

Super busy right now.

This afternoon I made a home visit to client I saw on Wednesday in an extreme state of anxiety. 2 hours work on Wednesday made a huge difference.

Today I returned for a follow up session - which wasn't needed! 'Calm, relaxed and in control were the words of the day.'

My diary is very full and evening / weekend appointments are very scarce. I do have a little flexibility with daytime slots and will always do my best to accommodate your needs.

💭 Why I’m Doing This

If someone told me a few years back I’d be here using my story, my scars, and my training to build something that helps others I’d have laughed it off. But life has a funny way of turning pain into purpose.

This photo isn’t just a photo of me, it’s me and my number one support through life’s challenges, and in this vision, the person who’s been there through it all, helping bring this dream to life.

My dream is to create a program that supports people and families through recovery, something real, honest, and grounded in lived experience. Because that’s what changed everything for me.

The journey, the training, the setbacks, the lessons… they’ve all been the crutch that’s held me up and shaped me into the person I am today.

Right now, we’re at it behind the scenes, this isn’t just a page. We’re building a full Recovery Program with PowerPoints, videos, and exercises, with plans to start delivering it going forward.

We’re also putting together the parts needed to deliver live shares and bring some powerful stories to life, sharing the message of recovery out loud and showing what’s possible.

Please follow this journey. I’ll be pushing updates once a week, and every bit of support, share, and message means more than you know.
