As HOYS week is finally upon us, I would like to take this opportunity to wish all my clients that have qualified the best of luck.

Whatever the result you have all achieved so much just to be there. So, kick on and enjoy the arena of dreams!

Do you know what a physio actually does? Our aim is to help people or animals regain or restore movement and function when an area of their body has been affected by injury or illness. It can be easier to treat people because they can tell you which bit hurts and make a conscious effort not to compensate, whereas animals can be somewhat trickier! But it’s wonderful being able to make a difference to an animal and see them get brighter after a session.

Yesterday we had a great line up of speakers at the Equine Day of the ACPAT seminar. Great to be continuing to learn to help your lovely horses (and riders)!

SEMINAR 2021

DAY 2 (Equine)

Another great day at Woodland Grange!
Today we have heard about showjumping biomechanics, rider biomechanics, hoof-horse connection, lameness in endurance horses, comparison of horses versus a simulator, as well as how to run a successful equine business!

L-R pictured: Fiona Bloom, Nicola Kinnard-Comedie, Yogi Sharp, Maeve Sheridan and Lee Clark
Our other speaker (not pictured as presented virtually) was Kristin Dean

We have had a wonderful weekend of CPD; next year there is no seminar as we are supporting the Iavrpt with their Symposium in August. We will return in 2023!
