✨ What an unforgettable night! ✨

I had an absolute ball at the Slimming World Awards 2025 🎉 The incredible Ashley Banjo hosted the evening — and just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, we were treated to a surprise performance from Diversity! 💃🕺

It was such an amazing night celebrating everything Slimming World stands for — inspiration, achievement and togetherness 💖 Massive congratulations to all of the well-deserved award winners 🏆

Fabulous night, amazing food and even better company! 🥂
I absolutely love my job and feel so blessed to be part of such an amazing company 💕

I got to celebrate with our incredible Slimming World Icons 2025 competition — and wow, what an inspiration they all are! 💫

Together these amazing members have lost a combined total of 68.5 stone 🤩👏 Their dedication, determination and positivity are truly inspirational, and I couldn’t be prouder of each and every one of them. 💖

On Sunday it’s British pudding day 😋
Did you know that on Slimming Worlds Food Optimising plan you can still enjoy a pudding and lose weight?
Check out this scrumptious looking pudding.

🤩Recipe of the Week 🤩

🫚Steamed ginger pudding🫚

These gorgeous little puddings are wonderfully warming on a cold day. Rich with the flavours of ginger and spice, there’s pleasure in every spoonful!

🤩Ingredients 🤩

⭐️Low-calorie cooking spray
⭐️4 level tbsp reduced-sugar apricot jam
⭐️2 eggs, separated
⭐️25g golden caster sugar
⭐️4 level tbsp sweetener granules
⭐️75g self-raising flour
⭐️3 tsp ground ginger
⭐️½ tsp ground allspice
⭐️1 level tbsp finely chopped stem ginger

🤩Method 🤩

⭐️Preheat the oven to 200°C/fan 180°C/gas 6. Spray 4 individual pudding basins with low-calorie cooking spray and place in a deep roasting dish. Spoon 1 tbsp jam into each of the basins.
⭐️Whisk the egg yolks with the sugar and sweetener until pale and fluffy. Sieve in the flour, ground ginger and allspice and stir to mix well.
⭐️Whisk the egg whites until soft peaks form and fold into the egg mixture with the stem ginger. Spoon this into the prepared basins, cover with baking parchment and foil and pour boiling hot water into the roasting dish to come halfway up the sides of the basins.
⭐️Place in the oven and steam for 20-25 minutes or until just firm and springy to the touch.
⭐️Put a plate over each basin and invert to turn out the puddings.

🤩Recipe of the Week 🤩

🥕Carrot cake cookies🥕

These chewy, not-too-sweet Slimming World cookies are nicely spiced and deliciously oaty. Perfect for relaxing with a cuppa.

🤩Ingredients 🤩

⭐️100g plain porridge oats
⭐️40g plain flour
⭐️1¼ tsp ground cinnamon
⭐️¼ tsp ground nutmeg
⭐️¼ tsp ground allspice
⭐️½ level tsp baking powder
⭐️1 large egg, plus 2 egg yolks
⭐️2½ level tbsp sweetener granules
⭐️2 tbsp fat-free natural Greek yogurt
⭐️2 small carrots, finely grated (use the fine side of a box grater)

🤩Method🤩

⭐️Preheat your oven to 160°C/fan 140°C/gas 3 and line 2 baking sheets with non-stick baking paper.
⭐️In a mixing bowl, stir together the oats, flour, spices, baking powder and a small pinch of salt.
⭐️In another mixing bowl, whisk together the egg and egg yolks, sweetener and yogurt, then stir in the carrots. Add the wet ingredients to the oat mixture and stir until well combined. Leave to stand for 10 minutes to soften the oats.
⭐️Drop tablespoons of cookie dough onto the lined baking sheet, spacing the cookies 2-3cm apart – you should get 20 cookies. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the cookies are firm and just a little golden. Transfer to a wire rack to cool.

These will keep for 2-3 days in an airtight container.

🍂Autumn trifles🍁

Trifle isn’t just for Christmas, as these autumnal fruit-filled delights prove!

🤩Ingredients 🤩

⭐️11.5g sachet sugar-free orange jelly crystals
⭐️400g can pear slices in natural juice
⭐️3 sponge fingers, roughly broken
⭐️200g fresh blackberries
⭐️120g low-fat custard from a can/carton
⭐️1 tsp ground ginger
⭐️4 tbsp fat-free natural fromage frais
⭐️½ level tsp sweetener granules
⭐️1 pear, cored and thinly sliced
⭐️1 piece stem ginger, drained and cut into small cubes
⭐️2 level tsp cocoa powder, to dust

🤩Method 🤩

⭐️Make up the jelly with 425ml boiling water, then set aside to cool for 20-30 minutes.

⭐️Drain the pears and put 1 tbsp juice into each of 6 dessert glasses. Divide the sponge fingers between the glasses, gently toss to coat in the juice and leave to soak for 1 minute.

⭐️Mix the canned pear slices and the blackberries together and divide between the glasses. Pour over the cooled jelly and chill in the fridge for 2 hours, or until set.

⭐️Combine the custard and ground ginger and spoon over the set jelly mixture. Mix the fromage frais and sweetener together and spoon over the top. Decorate each trifle with slices of fresh pear and stem ginger cubes and sprinkle over ½ tsp of cocoa powder.

4 Syns per serving
15 minutes plus 2 hours 30 minutes cooling and chilling
Serves 6
