Thank you to everyone who helped to make our Christmas Party another fun evening. Special thanks to the WRINKLIES UKELELE BAND for returning once again to entertain us. We enjoyed singing along with them to songs from the 60's and Christmas favourites.
As always our members came up trumps with a great selection of food for the buffet.
Although we will still be swimming on Thursday 11th and 18th, we take this opportunity to wish all our members a Happy Christmas. The club will not meet on Thursday 25th ( I wonder why?) and Thursday January 1st

A wonderful evening collecting for the East Grinstead Community Bonfire Society. Great support from the many spectators and a fabulous firework display.

It was with great pleasure that we welcomed Gareth Scourfield , Pope Santos , WM Doug and Paul Sorrell from Sackville Lodge to our club night on Thursday. They were able to see for themselves the new disability beds installed into the two larger changing rooms at the Kings Centre, which their generous donation funded. One of these rooms is also available to members of the public who need this facility for a family member with disabilities.

Great to see our members from Tablehurst back swimming on a Thursday. Our thanks to Laura for organising them and for driving them to the pool.

We would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to the East Grinstead Community Bonfire Society for choosing Tadpoles as one of the local organisations who will benefit from the money raised during their parade and bonfire celebrations in October. We look forward to joining them to rattle a few tins and to help make their evening another great success.

Award Winners 2025

A very pleased Matthew was awarded the Barbara Uphill Trophy for Achievement. In 2025 he has consistently and independently swum over 20 lengths each week. A great achievement Matthew. Well done

2025 Award Winners.

The Taylor Trophy for making excellent progress this year was awarded to Amy. Through her determination she has built up her stamina and weekly lengths and enjoys swimming independently. Well done Amy.

🎄Fun at the Christmas Party
We celebrated another successful year with our annual Christmas party on Friday December 6th.
As is our tradition, Cavendish House began the evening with a selection of carols. This year we were delighted to welcome Heather, a talented harpist, who accompanied the singers and then added a festive feel to the evening by playing a selection of Christmas songs as we completed quizzes and Dingbats.
A huge thank you to all our members who, as always, didn't disappoint with the selection of food and raffle prizes they contributed.

2024 Presentations.
Our annual trophies were presented on Thursday. Sophie received the Barbara Uphill Trophy for achievement. As one of our most long standing and loyal members, she is always happy and enthusiastic in the water and she brightens up the evenings with her laughter and singing.
Joshua received the Taylor Trophy for progress. He now swims lengths throughout the evening and is great company to those volunteers who swim with him.
Well done to both our worthy winners. 👏

We were very sad to say goodbye to Fern, who has been a dedicated and dependable volunteer, as she leaves us to begin her University course. We wish her every success and look forward to catching up with her when she has time. She is pictured with Sam, our longest serving Tadpole swimmer.
