Mill View is a purpose-built, warm and welcoming care home in East Grinstead. The team deliver the best in residential, nursing and respite care for older people, as well as specialist dementia care. Surrounded by the charming West Sussex countryside, Mill View is a beautiful home with a variety of luxury facilities, including a cafe, cinema room and a hair and nail salon. Residents are encouraged to carry on enjoying the hobbies they love, and many discover new interests or just enjoy getting to know other residents through the regular individual and group activities organised by the lifestyle team.

✨ Today, at Mill View students from The Meads School got together with residents to observe Remembrance Day. Together, we crafted beautiful poppy wreaths, a symbol of remembrance and honor for those who served.

It was a wonderful opportunity for intergenerational engagement. After creating the wreaths, we laid them at the town memorial, a poignant moment to reflect on the sacrifices made for our freedom.

It’s moments like these that remind us of the importance of community and remembrance. 🌺

Animal Magic!
Another lovely visit from our friends at Animal World.
We enjoyed holding & stroking these delightful creatures whilst learning fun facts about them.
This visit prompted residents to reminisce about past pets & we enjoyed swapping stories about them.

🍂✨ Autumn vibes are in full swing at Mill View! Residents enjoyed a lovely afternoon of crafting, creating beautiful autumn decorations to brighten up our space. Even Millie the dog joined in on the fun, adding her own special touch to the artwork! 🐾.Here’s to making memories and celebrating the season together! 🍁🖌️

Mill View residents go Out Out!

Here are a few pictures from recent trips out to Tilgate Park, Broadstone Warren, and Eastbourne. The sunny days have brought smiles and laughter as we enjoyed the beauty of nature and the fresh air.

These outings not only fostered connections among residents but also allowed them to embrace the joys of exploring the great outdoors. We can't wait for the next adventure!

What a delightful experience! Yesterday, our fantastic friends from Being Neighbourly EG came to visit for a trial ride in their newly acquired Trishaw. We eagerly anticipate many more adventures around the local area. A heartfelt thank you to Fiona, Andy, and Tiff!
