Evening update; As you maybe aware many residents across East Grinstead have now been without a mains water supply for two days, and according to the latest update shared by our local Councillor, it is unfortunately expected that the disruption may continue for a further couple of days.
Throughout today, priority residents have been escalated to help ensure they receive bottled water; however, some households remain without supply, which is understandably very difficult.
The Councillor has also advised that bottled water collection is expected to be available again from 8am tomorrow at the Iceland pick-up point, subject to confirmation in the next South East Water update.
If any of our clients, friends, family, or neighbours are struggling & need support, please do not hesitate to contact us. Where we are able, we are very happy to help with collecting and delivering bottled water or offering practical support during this disruption.
Regarding appointments:
✨ The clinic will remain open on Monday.
✨ We currently have sufficient water for essential hand-washing, treatments, and toilet facilities.
✨ This position will be reviewed each evening should the disruption continue.
Above all, please know that we are here to help. Whether practical support or reassurance is needed, we will do our very best to support our community during this time.
With thanks for your patience and understanding,
Sharon & The Retreatery Team 🥰
