I had been off sick for almost a year.
I could have forced myself back into a job that was breaking me, I could have pushed through like I always did. Instead I chose to just let it go. After arrowbreaking something shifted in me.
I realised I didn’t need to keep proving myself in a place that was draining me and that I needed to take time to properly heal.
Leaving my corporate job of 13 years was the moment I finally chose myself.
Healing started the second I stopped fighting my own body and listened to it.

This is just my personal experience, hope I don't cause any offence 😂 we are all very different and what works for one won't work for all. Also, anxiety isn't something we can completely eradicate- it's an emotion that we need for survival. However, living in a chronic state of anxiety is absolutely something you can move past. Let me know in the comments what your experience has been, always curious to know what has helped/hasn't helped others. Might also do a part 2 as there are loads more tools, techniques and therapies I've tried!
