Just a wee heads up for when you come to clinic in the next couple of weeks, I’ll be wearing a face mask during every appointment leading up until Christmas.

There are a lot of respiratory viruses and flu going around right now and I’d like to avoid another bad cold Christmas if I can, as well as keep my patients safe.

Please don’t feel pressured to wear a mask yourself, but they are available in clinic if you’d like one 😷

I still have some appointments available this week, and next week is just about full before I finish up on the 22nd. See my previous post or pop me a message if you’d like to get booked in.

I get asked a lot if I treat children, and the answer is absolutely I do!

Whether it’s a problematic toenail, a verruca or just something that you’re unsure about, children are always welcome here ☺️

We try to create a chilled and calming environment to make podiatry appointments as comfortable and stress free as possible for kids anxious adults!

It’s getting colder, and keeping your feet warm is one of the biggest challenges coming into winter ❄️

Lower temperatures can exacerbate existing conditions like arthritis, neuropathy and Raynaud’s. It can also cause little chilblain blisters and dry out your skin.

Just because your feet are now going to be hidden for several months, doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be mindful of them!

Keep them warm and dry, the best socks for this are all natural - cotton or wool! If you know someone as talented as my mum, hand knitted socks are top tier if you can get them 🧶
