It gives me great pleasure to congratulate Jane and Laura on the completion of their Reiki Level 1 training today.

These beautiful souls worked perfectly together despite never having met each other before. It never ceases to amaze me how Reiki brings the perfect combination of people together. We discovered many things we had in common as conversation flowed through various topics during lunch and at the end of the day.

The day flew by as the Reiki flowed, growing stronger and stronger as we practiced looking after our auras and deepening our connection to this wonderful energy. These images show Laura and Jane carrying out a Reiki therapy session on each other. I'll share more about the energy practices in another post.

Well done Laura and Jane, I know you are committed to a daily self practice and have lots of ideas about who you will begin to work with, sharing this gift.

I love being my own boss 💜
It means I get to choose where I go and who I spend time with — and today was a lovely reminder of that.

I had a great catch-up with Nancy Luke from Avondale Radio . It’s been a while since we last spoke, so there was lots of news to share.

We chatted about my move into my garden room, how much I love working from there, and how it’s created such a calm, cosy space for clients and students. We also spoke about Magekal Mystekal Market, which is taking place on 1st March.

Does your workplace have an employee wellbeing programme?

Did you know that many workplaces pay for employees to have Reiki sessions? Practitioners usually have to be registered with the UK Reiki Federation. The good news is that I am a UK Reiki Federation member and I complete regular Continuous Professional Development.

One such workplace is . check if your work place also offers this and if so, let me...and your colleagues know. I'd love to work with workplaces to facilitate private Reiki Sessions for employees. (limited evening appointments are available.

How it usually works:
You gain approval form your workplace and check the value of the payment they are willing to make. Contact me with the information and we can work out how many sessions you'd like to book. Of course, you can just book one to see if it's the right match for you.

Or, if you are the boss, I'd be happy to discuss coming into your place of work to provide Reiki and or Crystal Sessions or workshops for staff. Simply drop me a message.

Please join me in congratulating Charlene of on the completion of her Crystals and Crystal Healing Level 1 Training.

I'm not sure if Charlene thought the highlight of the course was having her aura measured and learning how to protect her energy field or discovering how to work with a pendulum. We also discussed chakras and learned how to carry out crystal healing using a variety of methods.

Charlene's parting words were. " I'll see you soon for level 2!" I personally can't wait as it was a pleasure to experience crystal healing from Charlene and also to work with her gentle energy.

Reiki is a Japanese energy healing practice that supports physical, mental, emotional & spiritual wellbeing — gently retuning you to balance and harmony.

Reiki was brought to us by Dr. Mikao Usui in the 1920s.

Two more Crystal Healing practitioners! One from Ayrshire, one from Midlothian.

Please join me in Congratulating Joy and Emma on the completion of their Crystals and Crystal Healing Level 2 training. It has been an honour to lead these wonderful souls to practitioner level.

Both these ladies are already trained many other healing modalities. Their intuitive abilities shone through and they kept me on my toes with some great questions! I am looking forward to reading their case studies and presenting their certificates. I will tell you more about where to find them once they are fully qualified.

What a powerful combination!
Today is Imbolc, the halfway point between the Winter Solstice and the Spring Equinox. It is also St Brigid's Day and we have a Full Moon!

How will you spend today?

Caroline’s Relaxing Reiki

Hi. I’m Caroline. I discovered reiki by chance, or should I say reiki found me? My health had been poor on and off for years. By 2010 I was unable to work for 9 months, 6 of which I spent in bed despite having 4 young children. Fortunately I have a great G.P. and I was eventually diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. (or M.E.) With the right medical guidance I gradually became stronger and after a very long phased return, I managed to work again three days a week. Despite wishing to increase this back to full time I was never able to.

In 2012/13 I attended a group with my two youngest children where they had arranged taster sessions of reiki. I’d never heard of it before and gave it a try. I liked the brief experience and decided to attend a reiki share the next week. After this I was completely pain free for 3 whole days. I had forgotten what that felt like! I found a reiki practitioner and began to have reiki sessions regularly. I felt stronger than I had for a very long time. They say reiki clears anything that isn’t good for you. In July 2013 my marriage ended. Having 4 children and working wasn’t easy but I managed. My reiki practitioner suggested that I learn reiki for myself in order to work on myself and for the benefit of my children. I achieved my Reiki 1 and 2 certificate on 29/2/16 . I began to practice on friends and family with exciting results.

By this time I had made lots of new friends and had met an amazing new partner. My life had transformed. I decided to study for my reiki masters. That was an incredible experience and I achieved y Reiki Master/ Teacher qualification in September 2018.

I love working with reiki energy and feel highly privileged to be able to bring some calmness into the lives of others. My dream is to give up my original job as a primary teacher ( I graduated in 1994.) and have reiki as my full time job. I also love crystals and intend to qualify as a Crystal Healer, (when the kids give me a minute!) Keep an eye on the events for details of crystal workshops I host and reiki training days or pm me to book in for some reiki. I honestly believe it has to be experienced to be understood!
