This afternoon is all about being held in a fun and lighthearted space. Many of you may know Sarah from our weekly practises and we have decided to team up and take flight :)

Sarah is a teacher and performer with over 25 years experience in dance, aerial circus, stilt walking and Yoga - we are in safe hands! But have no fear..we will not be high rope walking, with a progressive practice inclusive for beginners, Sarah will encourage achievement using the sling. I’m most excited about Shavasana, simply lying in the sling - in the air. We could even visualise a sandy beach and a piña colada (I mean green smoothie..) Shavasana, hanging like a bat in a cave will encourage the feeling of being held.

This air dance will lead us nicely into the beauty of Yin Yoga & Restorative Yoga lead by me, Alex. For most of this practise you will be lying down, supported using bolsters, blocks and blankets to restore calm in the nervous system.

The afternoon will look a little like this:

1:45 - Arrival

2:00 - 3:00 - Aerial Yoga with Sarah

3:00 - 3:15 - Break

3:15 - 4:00 - Yin & Restorative Yoga with me, Alex

My heart is so full. Yesterday saw us through a huge day of Movement, Cacao and Sound, bound with connection, vulnerability and simplicity.

This was an experience I have never felt before, the connection of people could hold the loosest of dwellings together - the abundance of empathy and mellow hits was palpable. From the bottom of my very open, full and excited heart, I thank every one who trusted the process on Eve of Simplicity.
