Yesterday we celebrated WEAR IT PINK for Breast Cancer. We held a cake sale, sang on karaoke, played games and danced to music. We had a very fun day filled with lots of laughter 🩷

Please join us on Monday 27th October for a fun day of fundraising for Breast Cancer. 150 people are Diagnosed with Breast Cancer every day in the UK including men. We will be holding sweep stake games, cake sale, best pink outfit competition, karaoke & lots of refreshments. We have set up a donations box in the main porch for any donations 🥰

Last week we was contacted by Retford Library to see if we wanted to take part in a block painting session, we happily said yes. The session was food themed so we got to look at some old recipe books, talk about old food packaging designs and then we designed some food based drawings, which we turned into prints and tote bags. Our residents had the best afternoon socialising with other care homes who also attended, we were served tea and biscuits and just had so much fun 🥰 we cannot wait to do this again!

The wonderful Emma from Kiddleydivey East Midlands will next be joining us at 2pm on Tuesday 7th October for another fun filled session of music, singing and laughter 🎤💃🏼 ❤️
