Not quite Glastonbury but first adventure camp complete with 48 year 6’s enjoying themselves after 1 hours sleep 🫢🤪😴

We had lots of discussion about plants as a valuable food source and picked an Australian recipe for Damper bread which we turned into Damper 🐍 to cook over the camp fire flames 🔥

Roll on the next one where we will be running plant ID and printing into air dry clay.

Hello everyone! I hope you are all having a wonderful bank holiday weekend.

I wanted to notify you all of some changes over the coming months which mean I am unable to take on new patients or offer appointments during the months of June/July and August.

This is due to work with Take 2 Adventure which will see me delivering herbal activities for schools locally and across the country and also an exciting part time position working within the NHS (more on this in the future).

This month there is no change so please get in touch for any follow ups required, repeat prescriptions or general support you need - it’s business as usual.

Come September I will be back to offering consults at home but during these months I will need to ask that current patients give me at least 4 days turn around for prescriptions/orders etc.

If in doubt drop me a message and I will come back to you. I’m very excited for an extremely busy summer ☀️💚

I’ve been quiet on here over the last year or so but I’ve still been working and supporting people with herbs for both their physical and mental health.

This has meant working around the children schools closed/schools open/covid isolations…..as has been the way of the world.

Over this time I have seen the effect first hand on many, but our ever resilient small people I feel have missed out on ‘normal’ considerably.

Which is leading me towards working with them more and helping them explore nature and plants, learning through experience, activity and simply getting stuck in!

So today found me at Take 2 Adventure doing just that covering both key stage 1 & 2 curriculum (science/art & design) with Hapa Zome plant printing outdoors in their lovely woods.

It was wet and windy but very rewarding watching them test theory, ID plants, discuss the use of plants, seasons, botany we even discussed dinosaurs 🦕
