I offer individuals a safe, quiet space to feel understood and listened to. I recognise at times in our lives we may all have the need for an understanding non-judgemental, supportive, compassionate person to assist us explore difficult issues. Counselling can be a place, to share worries and anxieties; during this therapeutic relationship we can develop new understandings and awareness. This can enable, possibilities for change to be explored, and personal growth to occur. As a therapist I will not be able to provide you answers to your life difficulties, however I am here to help you explore them and then support you select the best options for yourself. I have experience with working with male and female clients in both brief focused therapy and longer term therapy if required. Feel free to contact me for more information.

£35 per hour - Monday - Friday
£50 per hour - Saturday

My approach to supervision is collaborative, reflective, and trauma-informed, offering a safe space to explore your clinical work, deepen insight, and support your professional growth.

I specialise in trauma and EMDR, drawing on IFS and psychodynamic perspectives within an integrative framework. Whether you’re newly qualified or experienced and seeking a space to reconnect with your practice, supervision with me offers both support and challenge in equal measure.

“It’s hard to connect to someone who is unwilling to connect to themselves.”

In therapy, we often notice how our relationships mirror the relationship we hold with ourselves. When someone struggles to sit with their own feelings, needs, or history, it can be difficult for them to allow real closeness with others.

In EMDR and psychotherapy, we gently begin with that inner connection, noticing sensations in the body, exploring emotions safely, and building resources that help us feel steady. As clients strengthen their capacity to stay with themselves, their ability to connect outwardly often grows too.

This doesn’t mean blame, it’s about compassion. Many people avoid connection with themselves because of past pain, shame, or trauma. Healing begins when we allow ourselves to turn inward, at a pace that feels safe, and discover that we can meet ourselves with curiosity rather than fear.

The more we connect with who we are, the more authentic, grounded, and fulfilling our connections with others become. 🩶💛💚♎️

💥 Healthy Ways to Externalise Anger 💥
(Especially when you’re used to holding it all in🥺)

It’s totally normal and okay to feel angry it’s what we do with it that matters. Here are some safe, healthy ways to let it out without hurting yourself or others:

🗣️ Voice Note It
Say everything you’re feeling out loud into a voice memo no filter, no judgment.

✍️ Write a Letter (and don’t send it)
Let it all out on paper. Burn it, bin it, keep it, totally up to you.

💃 Move Your Body
Dance it out, stomp, shake, or punch a pillow. Let the energy move through you.

🎨 Get Creative
Draw it, paint it, smash clay, express what words can’t.

😤 Scream into a Pillow / in Your Car
Release the pressure valve (just maybe roll the windows up if you’re in traffic 😅).

🧘‍♀️ Breath + Speak
Try box breathing (inhale 4 / hold 4 / exhale 4 / hold 4) then name what you’re angry about out loud.

🪑 Chair Work
Say what you need to say to an empty chair, powerful and healing.

🚶‍♀️ Walk + Talk
Move your body while talking it through with a trusted person or therapist.

📦 Contain It (For Now)
Write it down and seal it in an envelope or box. You can come back to it when you’re ready.

Anger is just energy, it doesn’t have to stay stuck inside.
