Change is a process, not an event. When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change. Ask yourself, what would a close friend or family member say or do in your situation? Are there any other explanations or viewpoints to consider? What else is possible? Know that you are never stuck. If it feels like there's no way out, perhaps there's a way through!

When the world is going crazy and feelings of panic get in the way of every day activities, you need to know how to deal and manage stress and anxiety!

PAUSE - BREATHE - RELAX
My top tip today to reduce stress, panic and anxiety: stop for a moment and pause to reflect on how you feel. Take a few deep breaths to calm your body and mind and try to consciously relax your muscles, face and body.

Regarding the breath, try to add a rhythm, like counting:
breathe in and count to 4 and out to 4, then breathe in and count to 5 and out to five, in to 6 and out to 6, then repeat the process.
Please only do this in an appropriate environment and not while driving and when you need to stay alert.
I hope this helps you calm down a bit when things get too much.

Are you aware of your current stress level? I don't wait until I get stressed out. I watch my stress level and take small steps whenever my level goes up a bit. Stop for a minute and scale your stress level in % or on a scale from 1-10. Then take a few minutes to breathe deeply, think of a great day you had or count your blessings.
Several small steps during the day will keep your stress levels at bay :)

Today is World Kindness Day! It's a great opportunity to be kind to yourself and stop the negative self-talk and also do an act of kindness to somebody random. Kindness can be smiling at a stranger, help an elderly person carry something heavy, give a homeless person something to eat or drink, make someone laugh, make a charity bag and bring it to a shop, buy a 'thinking of you' card for someone in your life, etc. Today is just a reminder but we could do something nice everyday. Imagine if everyone did a random act of kindness, how that could change our crazy world for the better.
