I'm Steve and hold a BTEC L5 Professional Diploma in Soft Tissue Therapy (LSSM), L4 qualification in Sports Massage and Soft Tissue Therapy, studied Sport and Exercise Science at the University of Brighton,Kettlercise Kettlebell Instructor, Level 2 Gym Instructor and a RockTape RockDoc (Level 2 Kinesiology Taping). Some great news announced yesterday: -

"British Basketball's interim governing body - collectively Basketball England, Basketball Scotland and Basketball Wales - has today confirmed the recognition of the masters age group within the suite of Great Britain national teams competing in FIBA competitions."

"From 2026/27, selection and preparation of official British teams competing in the FIBA Masters Open, and other suitable championships, will be facilitated by the GB Maxibasketball national programme"

Hello Good People!
Hope you all had a good Christmas and have plenty of things planned for the New Year!

2025 was a pretty good for LWB: -

857 bookings of which 137 were new clients so a big thank you for those that continue to recommend me 😀

I delivered Sports Massage courses (on behalf of Sideways8 Training) at Brighton and Brunel University, the University of East Anglia and London Metropolitan University 😁

I rejoined the GB Maxibasketball Team as we prepare for the FIMBA European Championships in Athens, Greece, later this year 😁

So it's looking like 2026 is gonna be pretty busy too!

15th - 20th: Normal Hours
22nd - 24th: 9am - 3pm
25th: Closed
26th: Closed
27th: Closed
28th: Closed
29th - 31st: 9am - 3pm
1st January: Closed
2nd: 9am - 3pm
3rd: 9am - 1pm

***Public Service Announcement***
Hello good people!
Do you, or anyone you know require 3 or more ongoing NHS prescriptions? I've just had yet another one added (and waiting to hear about the possibility of another one) that will take my yearly cost to £180+. Unbeknown to me - until a client highlighted this last week, thank you - you can get an NHS Prescription Prepayment Certificate for £114.50 per year that covers all your NHS prescriptions.

Just thought I'd put that one out there as it might help someone 😁

It's been a while since I did a post...but just wanted to say a big 'Thank You' to everyone whom keeps on recommending LWB 😁😁👍

Since September 22nd, I've treated 93 clients and that includes 15 new ones...brilliant!! Next week is nearly full: I've only 3 spaces left...you can book online, link in comments 👍

Just a quick post to let you know that LWB will be closed September 12th - September 22nd 😲. Next weekend I'll be attending the GB Maxibasketball Training Camp in Nottingham as we prepare for the 2026 European Championships in Athens, Greece... and the following week it's a well earned holiday 😁😁

Things I didn't expect to be doing on a Friday afternoon: silks!

Took a trip down to Sweet Circus to check-out some aerialist skills but certainly didn't expect to be hanging upside down at the end! Must admit, was a bit aprehensive trying this - pretty far out of my comfort zone - but felt great afterwards...I'd go so far as feeling more confident as to what this old(ish) body might still be able to do! Definitely going back for more 😀😀😀👍
