Eastbourne People returns on Monday with Len Fisher. On the next instalment of the programme we’re looking forward to welcoming Kim Davies and Peter Lindsey.

Kim, Morrisons Community Champion and Peter, editor of Bournefree Magazine will be talking about the Eastbourne Community Awards 2026 taking place in June.

Both Kim and Peter are regular contributers to Radio DGH shows so there will be the inevitable banter during the show!

Earlier this week we were joined by Kate Shortell.

Kate will be hosting the upcoming Crowned For A Cause charity fundraiser, raising funds for Cancer Research UK, taking place on Friday 29th May between 5-8pm at Sovereign Harbour Community Centre. The event is set to be an unforgettable evening celebrating local women in business.

Kate is also a finalist in Miss Great Britain (Sussex) 2026 and spoke about the process, from nominations through to being a finalist in the competition.
