Wishing Everyone a Blessed Yuletide as we reach the Winter Solstice and the shortest day of the year. From today, we are bringing the light back to the earth and to our lives.
Yuletide is a time to reflect on the past year and set intentions for the new year. Many people celebrate Yuletide with rituals and ceremonies that honour the return of the light. These rituals often involve lighting candles, burning incense, and making offerings to the gods and goddesses. However you celebrate this Winter Solstice I wish you all a wonderful Solstice full of everything you would wish for yourself.

Welcome to this week's Affirmation Tuesday. This week I have chosen a short but a very important Affirmation - "You can't pour from an empty cup. Take care of yourself first".
We've all heard various forms of this saying but it's so easy to let It fall to the back of your head, but it is so true. If you always look after others not yourself at some point you will not be able to help anyone as you will be depleted of all your energy. I hope you will try to do this, it will help you survive in this busy world of ours.

This week, for our Tuesday Affirmation, I am using one of my favourite images. I don't think you can look at this image without a smile coming across your face, so I have decided to use it again today. The Tuesday Affirmation is "A day without laughter is a day wasted." As we have discussed before, laughing raises our vibrations and when that happens, our bodies release endorphins which promote an overall sense of well-being. It can also protect our hearts and can even temporarily relieve pain. I hope that you will give this week's Affirmation a try and have a fun week.
