Well done to Mandy (ladies champion) & Nathan (men’s champion) who played for the Kite Trophy today. It was a close match with Mandy winning in the end. Fantastic turn out from members, family and friends to support these two great players.

Today we hosted a local running club, Eastbourne Rovers, who celebrated one of their member’s birthday with a bowls session. 18 of them took part, coached by members of our club and great fun was had by all! Well done to Roy, Gary and Nathan who played at home in drizzly conditions in the Men’s Town Triples yesterday evening against a very strong (and somewhat boisterous) Eastbourne team. It was a nail biting match to watch; 10 all at 13 ends and 15 all at 17 ends with one to go. It didn’t go their way on the final end but they did our club proud! Well done guys!
