Our Level 3 First Aid at Work (FAW) course gives you the knowledge, confidence and practical skills to deal with a wide range of workplace emergencies.

During this 3-day, Ofqual regulated course, you’ll learn how to respond to incidents including:

✔ CPR and use of a defibrillator
✔ Unresponsive casualties

✔ Burns, fractures and other injuries
✔ Medical emergencies such as seizures, asthma and heart attacks

Successful candidates receive a Level 3 certificate valid for 3 years, helping businesses stay compliant with workplace first aid requirements.

🧰 What should be in a first aid kit?

Every workplace should have a properly stocked first aid kit — but many people aren’t sure what should actually be inside one.

A well-equipped kit should include essentials such as:

✔ Plasters
✔ Sterile dressings
✔ Disposable gloves
✔ Adhesive tape
✔ Scissors
✔ Triangular bandages
✔ Eye wash
✔ CPR face shield

These items allow a trained first aider to respond quickly to common workplace injuries like cuts, burns, bleeding, or someone becoming unwell.

Having the equipment is important…
but knowing how to use it is what really makes the difference.
