Weekly group meeting information

Date and time - Thursday 8th Jan 6:30pm until 8:30pm

Venue - The Moose, Lower Coronation Street,Tredegar NP22 3JE ( Behind Tredegar Police Station )

What to expect - These weekly meetings are a good place to come for a chat, cuppa and to give or receive some peer to peer support if needed, this is a safe and non judgemental place where you can open up as much or as little as you like, even if you just want to take in conversations that’s absolutely fine.

Forming friendships is a byproduct of these meetings as over the course of time you get to know each other on a personal level and we find sometimes that we open up more to each other than we do to our family members.

Cold Water Dip 🥶

Date and Time - Wednesday 7th Jan meeting at 4:20pm, in the water for 4:30pm

Location - Blue Lake, Ebbw Vale

Meeting point - On the Roundabout just up from Morrisons petrol station in Ebbw vale

Please be advised to bring the following

A towel or Changing robe
Old shoes , Crocs or Water shoes

A smile an open mind and a belly full of laughs

The weather is perfect now to start your journey in cold water, come and give it a go and get out of your comfort zone 👍

Date and Time - Saturday 3rd January meeting at 8:20am in the water for 8:30am

The water is now starting to get really cold , these next few months is where you get the benefits of dipping all year round to get yourself ready 💪

This Sundays well-being walk is Brynmawr over to Garn Lakes in Blaenavon and back to Brynmawr.

Date and time - Sunday 4th January meeting 08:50 to start walking at 9:00am.

We are meeting at Brynmawr bus station

This is a relatively flat walk and approx 6 miles in distance.

As always make sure you wear appropriate footwear and clothing, Bring snacks and a drink if you wish. Dogs are also welcome.
