📣 Important Patient Notice

We’re now in the final stages of changing our clinical system, and we want to thank all our patients for their patience and understanding over the last few weeks while this work has been taking place.

🔧 On Tuesday 3rd March 2026, we will not have the facility to book advance appointments. There will be no disruption to urgent matters dealt with on this day.

This will affect 3rd March 2026 only with normal booking services resuming from Wednesday 4th March 2026.

A reminder to all our patients that you can request a routine (non urgent appointment) using the form on our website, 24 hours a day. https://www.glanrhydsurgery.co.uk/appointment-request

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your continued support as we complete this process.

Thank you

📢 Important Update

We wanted to let you know that we are changing our clinical system between the dates of 23rd February 2026 and 6th March 2026

During this transition period, things may take a little longer than usual, and some services might be temporarily slower while our team adjusts to the new system.

🙏 We kindly ask for your patience and understanding as we work through this change. Our staff are doing their very best, and we truly appreciate your support.
Thank you for bearing with us

People in Wales can now track their NHS waiting list progress on the NHS Wales app🙌

The latest update lets people check their waiting list status, view hospital referrals and appointment details, and access information to help manage their health while waiting for treatment.

More than 650,000 people have already registered to use the bilingual app. The app aims to improve access to healthcare services for people registered with a GP in Wales and is a key part of the Welsh Government’s digital transformation strategy for healthcare.
