The radiators have been on high with hot bottles and blankets for extra comfort. The icy frost over the fields has been a beautiful view each morning. ❄

I have worked with children as young as 4 years and adults up to 85 years. Each of their stories very different, but when it comes to grief and loss, the mark it leaves does not go away. The body remembers and moves forward still holding this love. ❤

Since building The Counselling Cabin in April, I have had the privilege of working with many amazing clients. Each client arrives with an emotion that felt too much to handle alone.

I feel so grateful to be trusted with people's inner most thoughts and feelings. To sit with a client who is struggling and to truly listen to their story is humbling. In addition, and when they feel ready, supporting them to navigate a path towards growth and healing is heartwarming.

It is always difficult when clients come to the end of their counselling journey. However, I take warmth from knowing that they no longer need my support because they are in a better place emotionally. 🦋 😊 💗

Do you ever struggle with the phrase 'good enough', thinking that you should always reach higher and achieve more?🦸 Does everything have to be just right before you can rest? 🥱

I find it hard to know when to stop and listen to my body as I try to tick off my 'to do' list. ✔

Today, try to tune into your body for ten minutes. Do you need more water, a sit in the garden gazing at the sky, a rest on the sofa, or a moment to breathe deeply into your tummy?

By taking a moment for yourself, you will have more energy and creativity. 😊

It is a grey, drizzly day here. I am going to take this opportunity to offer myself some small comforts...great food, cuddling Flo with a cuppa, and just relaxing. 🐶🐾
