CC smashed her first day at The Foxglove as a Kitchen Assistant 👩‍🍳✨

She got stuck straight in with portion control - carefully weighing and prepping food like a pro and even had a go at plating meals and helping fulfil customer orders. She took real pride in her work, and it definitely showed. A brilliant start! 🙌

Alex hit the ground running on his first day of Supported Internship at Brackenfield Alpaca Farm 🦙

He started with an hour-long trek, followed by plenty of hands-on work helping keep the farm tidy. He even learned how to safely handle a chicken!

The day flew by, and Alex showed great enthusiasm throughout - already demonstrating initiative and applying skills from his college sessions at Apperknowle Farm in a real working environment 👏

CC had her meet and greet at The Foxglove, where she’ll be starting her Supported Internship back of house! 👩‍🍳

CC is hugely excited about her placement and shared with Tony, the manager, how much she loves to cook and how hardworking she is. We can’t wait to see her grow in this role – we’re sure she’s going to be truly fabulous! 💛

Fantastic work from Joe on his Supported Internship! 👏

Joe recently helped prepare and cook for a buffet at The Florentine Pub. The team were blown away by his speed, attention to detail, and excellent presentation – from making a full selection of sandwiches to keeping everything neat and organised. 🥪✨

The day before, Joe also helped cook and prepare the fillings, showing amazing teamwork and planning to make sure everything was ready for the day.

A brilliant effort and a perfect example of the skills and dedication our learners bring to real working environments. Well done, Joe! ⭐

Jonathan has had an amazing first day at George at Asda! From putting out clothes and stock to making sure everything is in the right place and size order, he’s already showing top-notch attention to detail. 👕🛍️

He’s also impressing the team with his knowledge of scanning stock in and out, handling overstock, and helping customers politely and professionally. The staff can’t stop talking about his positive attitude and how much of a joy he is to have around! 👏
