๐ŸŒŸ Celebrating OT Week at RHCYP! ๐ŸŒŸ

We had a fantastic time hosting our Childrenโ€™s Occupational Therapy awareness stall in the main atrium of the Royal Hospital for Children and Young People! ๐ŸŽ‰

Our team showcased how Occupational Therapy supports children and young people in both hospital and community settings, helping them build independence, confidence, and essential life skills. ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿง

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to learn more, ask questions, and celebrate the incredible work of OTs! ๐Ÿ’™

This week, we celebrate the incredible work of Occupational Therapists (OTs) who empower people of all ages to live life to the fullest!

Whether itโ€™s helping someone regain independence after illness or injury, supporting rehabilitation, wellbeing or enabling older adults to stay active and engaged โ€” OTs make everyday life possible. This yearโ€™s theme, โ€œLiving Life Your Way,โ€ reminds us that everyone deserves to participate in the activities that bring meaning and joy to their lives.

Letโ€™s take a moment to thank the OTs who make a difference every day!

We were delighted to receive these Pocket Buddies from Sylvia again. You can see various staff demonstrating how easy they fit into pockets and can be carried about. These will be a great distraction tool (especially "Where's Wally") as well as being a great support for the children and young people who can take them home with them and keep them in their pockets or bags for whenever they need them. Thank you so much Sylvia for continuing to create these for us as part of a Random Act of Knitting and Crochet Group. ๐Ÿ’™
