Spring is here 🌞 We are so lucky to live near the Botanic Gardens and Inverleith Park and take every opportunity to get coats on & out in the fresh air when we can. Smiles all round & isn't the magnolia glorious? 💐

We've had another lovely week at Braeburn.
We toasted St Patrick's Day with a Guinness and delicious Irish Stew and there’s been a lot of exercise to keep us moving.
We welcomed a new music therapist called Tatiana and our ministers celebrated communion for us with a well- attended service.
And then the sun came out- finally - so we sat in the garden for a little while...here's hoping for a glorious summer.

Happy Mothers Day to all our Mum's - residents, relatives and staff.
We have been keeping busy at Braeburn with art, exercise and companion animals.
Maverick isn't actually registered as a therapet yet but we would give him a glowing reference 🐕🥰 He loves to be clapped and we love him- so thank you to Ruth for sharing him with us.

A busy few days at Braeburn 🎂🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🎵
We were charmed by a visit from our friends at Arbor Green Nursery who enjoyed bubbles and cake and delightful chaos with us.
Happy Birthday to Ruth for yesterday and Gus and Joy today. Everyone had a lovely time so thank you to the team for organising all the cakes and preparing a lovely lunch for Joy and her friend in our lounge.
And Elizabeth got ready to watch the rugby- hope she isn't disappointed 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏈

Good morning and Happy St David's Day.
Sharing a few photos of fun times spent with our friends at Arbor Green nursery. Previous visits have been with the 3 & 4 year olds, but the younger children decided they were missing out on the fun so they now come too!
We had a lovely busy morning with percussion and balloons and biscuits and we all enjoyed the happy chaos 🥳 See you again soon please.

Valentine's Day cakes and crafts 💕 A few pictures of our preparations for Valentine's Day last weekend. The cakes were excellent!

We had a lovely service today to mark Ash Wednesday. We are grateful for the services of our local ministry- Eileen and Father Jo who support Braeburn with regular services and communion and to Ann for providing glorious music. A special thing to sing and spend time together.
