I used to dread January but now I embrace it and approach it so differently.

January doesn’t need to be rushed.
It’s a month for easing in, listening, and moving with the natural flow of winter — not filling every space with goals and busyness.

Before setting endless goals, allow space to rest, reflect, and feel what this new year actually needs from you.

There’s wisdom in starting slowly and your body and mind will thank you for it!

Lovely quiet weekend here. Treated myself to some flowers and made a delicious chai teabread.

Wearing my neuro hat last night at the Winter Dinner Dance in aid of Spinal Injuries Scotland. Lovely to catch up with colleagues from the past and present and raise lots of money for a great cause.

What a night! So inspiring hearing about all the wonderful social enterprises and meeting the incredible people involved in them.
Honoured to work with ShorePsychologycic and excited for what the future holds.

Last night at the Social Enterprise Scotland Awards we were awarded £25,000 as Runners Up in the Firstport Social Innovation Challenge 2025 — and this photo of the team pretty much captures the moment.

This funding is a huge milestone for us.

We are building something meaningful together.

Loving my new t-shirt gifted to me by a fellow clinician. I love being my clients’ support squad. It can be a lonely place navigating services and treatment options especially when you have a condition which is often misunderstood and stigmatised. Having someone to validate what you’re going through, advocate for you and work with you to find a way forward makes all the difference!

I’m collaborating with Shore Psychology on a few projects and highly recommend their work and ethos. The group is online so you can access from wherever you are in the world and it’s an absolute bargain.
