It’s Fraud Awareness Week!

NHS Lothian eLetters are quick, easy, safe, and secure, but here’s how to check. They will:
✅ Have ‘NHS Lothian’ as the sender
✅ Include a 4-digit PIN + link
✅ Only ask for your Date of Birth + PIN (after clicking the link)
❌ We will never ask for any other personal information in our notification messages.

If the digital letter isn’t opened within 48 hours, the system will automatically print and post a copy to your address.

We are sad to report that last month, we had a total of 105 appointments where our patients did not show up☹️ As a practice, we try so hard to keep an eye on our availability to ensure we keep our wait time to a minimum, however...

105 appointments = 4.5 days of GP time ‼
