We have a mole invasion in the meadow!!!

Instead of seeing this as a problem, our wonderful gardener Naomi saw this as an opportunity to sow some seeds! If we’re lucky these mounds will be sporting a wild carrot halo come next summer, well on their way to a fresh batch of wild carrot moisturiser!

Did you know that ‘moletupp’ (the soil brought to the surface by moles) is actually full of nutrients, being brought up from deep in the earth, creating the perfect bed for establishing seedlings!

In a world that’s loud, rushed, and constantly telling you to fix yourself, Seilich chooses a different path.
We believe skincare should feel quiet, honest, and real.
Not about chasing perfection.
Not about comparison.
Not about pressure or promises to “correct” who you are.
🌿 Pure ingredients, grown and chosen with care to nurture your skin
🌿 Slow, thoughtful formulations that work to optimise the health of your skin

Our products are made to nurture, not rush.
To help you feel grounded, comfortable, and at home in your skin. To take care—gently, patiently, and authentically.
Because caring for yourself should feel like an exhale, not a demand.

✨ This is skincare for real life.
✨ For feeling good, not “good enough.”
👉 Follow Seilich for slow skincare, honest rituals, and a calmer way to care—for your skin and the world around you.

“Natural” doesn’t automatically mean good for nature.
And it’s time we stopped pretending it does.
The beauty industry loves big numbers.
Thousands of leaves.
Hundreds of plants.
More nature in every bottle.
But here’s the uncomfortable truth 👇
🌱 More plants extracted ≠ more nature protected.
When natural ingredients are grown in intensive monocultures, stripped from land with no space left for wildlife, pollinators or soils to recover, they actively contribute to biodiversity loss.
Calling that “natural” doesn’t make it sustainable — it just makes it marketable.
Nature isn’t an infinite ingredient cupboard.
Land is finite.
Ecosystems are under pressure.
And the question the industry avoids is: what kind of landscapes are we creating to feed our products?
At Seilich, we challenge the idea that more nature in a bottle is always better.
Because natural ingredients are only better for nature when they’re grown in ways that actively support it.
That means:
🌼 Regenerative growing, not extractive sourcing
🐝 Creating and managing habitats alongside harvesting
🌾 Leaving space for wildflowers, insects, soils and recovery
📉 Accepting limits instead of chasing scale at any cost
Seilich is led by Dr Sally Gouldstone — a botanist and nature conservationist who doesn’t just use plants, but designs landscapes where nature can thrive.
This isn’t the easy route.
It’s slower.
More complex.
Less convenient for mass production.
But if we’re serious about sustainability, we have to stop asking
👉 “How natural is this product?”
and start asking
👉 “How does this product help nature?”
🌍 Seilich exists because the industry won’t answer that question.
