Do you dream of bringing your artworks to life?

For me there is no better thrill than receiving 'that package' delivered to your door..for me heaven is seeing your designs come to life 😀 Its the culmination of all your garden work and learning coming to fruition and what better time to take a mindful moment to self congratulate..we so seldom do and taking that moment is a chance to 'bank' the good stuff, a vote for the person we are becoming. Best wellbeing boost ever 🥰🥰🥰

Wee self celebration in the Art Studio tonight! My 'Dandilion Days' Postcards have arrived..so proud of myself . Ive been learning Surface pattern design with the help of the fab , and and white im still very much learning I'm thrilled at my efforts.

This wee design is from the heart and my garden..not getting round to cutting the grass has its silver linings..the dandilions zinged and pretty blue speedwell crept and became my muse 😃

Well worth taking a moment and courage to pop online to have your work printed up..this time I used super easy and quick.

How do you like to plan for success?

Taking a wee mindful moment in the Art Studio. A wee bit of planning goes a long way before launching forth with seed siwing for your cut flower garden.....quality time spent with my fab new seeds from ... 🙂

Well worth taking a moment to note..
Height, germination temps and sowing recommendations, supplier. Then I like to note on packets whether Indoor, Green house or Direct outdoor sowing needed.

Taking this time will avoid many of the pit falls I've fallen prey to in the past and help you sow like with like in batches for better success 😃

And have oodles of lovely flowers to paint, arrange and gift 💐

Cut Flower Garden Joy continues ...tip toeing through the tulips today ...so delighted to return home from holidays to these beauties 😃

So gorgeous to see my efforts come to bloom...lovely as a display or if your looking for a long vase life..cut long when in bud with a hint of colour and prick the stem just under the bloom 🥰

Could your holidays, day trips, everyday places inspire your next artwork?

I hope you've had a lovely Easter break and found great inspiration for creating...I'm feeling brimming over with ideas after my recent to Milan..so many fabulous Art Galleries to visit and amazing design at every turn...

I so enjoyed creating this Surface Pattern Design...it was a great way to challenge myself as I continue to learn the skills of creating repeat patterns. So meaningful and absorbing and has definitely boosted my wellbeing 😃

So my friends..look around, take s few snaps, settle down with your paints, pencils, ipad and creste your own 'Postcard' memento..I promise you'll feel all the better for it. 😃

Inspired by the Sights, Sounds snd Tastes of this stylish Italian city. The oh so chic purses , Refreshing Vibrant Apersol Cocktail, Delicious Amareno Gelato, The oh so Spectacular Dumo, cutesy vechicles for wyndy narrow streets and of course the ever curious and cheeky pigeons 😃

What kind of mementos fo you like to bring home?

So happy to have happened upon a hidden gem with beautiful Italian designed Indian block printed cotton clothing and pretty gifts..

It meant so much more being able to chat with the lovey business owner and hear about how the garments are designed and made with love and care for the workers and the environment.

As you know Im a wee bit obsessed with fabric design just now so couldn't resist this gorgeous shirt..my Milan momento 🥰

Well worth wondering and discovering 😃
