❤️STAR DOGS ACADEMY IS BACK❤️
After a wee break im back to offer my
🐕OWNER GROOMING COURSE🐕
So if you have a dog you want to learn how to groom yourself let me know.
This course is a 4 to 4.5 hours and costs £250 and I will teach you how to bath, manage and groom your own dog .. you have to come spend that time with me for one day in our grooming salon on Restalrig Rd, Edinburgh, EH6 8BB.

We will work together using my 20 years experience in dog handling and grooming and your knowledge of your own dogs behaviours and we will give your dog a groom together, giving you the opertunity to learn and understand the grooming process and if this something you can do yourself with the right grooming tools & knowledge in your own home.

Just to let everybody know we won't be confirming dog groomer training dates for 2023 until nearer the end of the year and our waiting list for this is now full do we wont be adding anymore to that list for now ... we will be announcing more dates for the owner training courses mid November though .. these will be carried out on weekend days in either salon ❤️

A great wee Owner Training course with the lovely Hattie and her mum the other week ... was such a pleasure to spend some time with a wee Selem Terrier as they're sadly not as popular as they used to be and i really don't know why as they're such great wee happy funny dogs ... Hattie and mum done great and I hope that they spend many years enjoying spending the grooming process together ❤️❤️❤️

I'll now be offering a slot on 13th of September so please send a message if you want to book ... this course will run for around 4 to 5 hours and is suitable for most dogs although times and costs will flucuate depending on what type of dog and what level of grooming you are looking to learn ... send a message with some details of your dog and your expectations and I'll get back to you .... thanks ❤️❤️❤️

❤️I'm putting together a new course for owners who want to learn to groom their own dogs ... it will be a 1 day course and will require u to bring ur dog to the salon where I will work with you to teach you how groom them .. u will be advised on the best equipment to invest in and be guided step by step through grooming your dog ... you will be able to use the saloms equipment on the day ... the cost of this course will be £200 and spaces will be limited ... please note this will be a basic information course centered around your own dog and its own behavioural and grooming needs .. if this is something you would be interested in please message the page ❤️

🥰In an unregulated industry its so important to get the best start for you and the dogs you are going to be working with and our training programme was carefully created to do just that

🥰In an intense 4 week course you will be grooming from day 1 and complete 32+ dogs in total, a mix of breeds, shapes and sizes .. our model dogs are carefully selected to give you the best possible variety of the most common pet breeds your likely to work with

🥰During this course you will learn about dog behaviour and how they think to help u with the handling skills required ... you will also learn about welfare issues and k9 first aid

🥰You will also learn more about cleint expectations and management of that and skills to do successful informative handovers

🥰You are provided with a starter kit to help u become familiar with your own tools included in the course cost

🥰U will be the only student with constant supervision from your trainer learning within in a busy established grooming salon

🥰You will be advised on what and where to go next in your grooming journey and ongoing support if required

🥰You will be required to come for an Intro Day prior to commiting to the course to ensure you understand exactly what's involved in being a groomer

🥰This course is intense and although we don't have homework or exams we expect you to show initiative in your own research and learning .. it's also fun in a happy environment
