Anayas chemo journey

Fantastic news about Anayas mri yesterday! Her oncology doctor called this morning and the radiologist said the tumour is stable!! We are over the moon!

We got it wrong and they like to do MRI’s every 6 months for 5 years post chemo so in September she will have another one!

Thanks again for your well wishes and support 🫶💜🫶 Anayas journey will never be over but for now her journey is running smoothly and couldn’t be any better!

3rd week here and second attempt at Anayas MRI. She’s getting a sedation slipped in her drink before her anaesthetic today. Hopefully it all runs smoothly as we need to know how these brain tumours are behaving! If they are behaving then her MRI’s will go to yearly 🤩🤩🤩

Unfortunately Anayas MRI didn’t go as planned. In the waiting area Anaya was amazing and even helped a little boy as he was freaking out getting the magic cream but as soon as it was time to go down she freaked out. So today’s MRI didn’t go ahead as they want to sedate her next time.

Poor Anaya has went through a lot in her 7 years and she finds these things very distressing. As a mum I wish I could do it for her but unfortunately I can’t!

Will keep you all posted on the next MRI and how it goes 🫶💜

Been very quiet for a while…. Which is a good thing for us! Means everything is normal!

Today we are on our way to sick kids for Anayas MRI! Mummy feels very positive about it! As you can see you is looking amazing 🤩🤩🤩

Anaya has managed 2571 steps today! I (mummy) still has a few hours of steps to get in today to get to 10K!

Me and Anaya want to give back to a charity close to our hearts! If it wasn’t for them Anaya wouldn’t have got her wish to go to Disneyland Paris!

We would love it if people could support us with our steps challenge for September! We have a target of 10,000 steps a day, Anaya won’t manage much because of her mobility but I (her mum) will make up the steps to help her! She’s excited to do something that might help other girls and boys like her 🤩🤩🤩

As you guys are aware Anaya suffers from NF1. One issue she’s always had is her mobility. Today she finally got her splints that will help straighten her feet when walking in shoes. Another little victory in her life 🎉🎉🎉 she takes everything in her stride, never complains and is always happy!

Sorry we’ve been so quiet. As people closest to us know we have another situation we are going through that’s not shared via social media. Life is crazy just now and it’s hard to catch a breath at times!

Anaya has another MRI in September to see how these tumours are behaving! Like always we will update you all on the results!

Look who came all the way from Disneyland Paris to see Anaya before her wish comes true!!!

Anaya was absolutely buzzing, seeing her this excited is the best feeling ever!

As a family we cannot wait to share with you all her time at Disneyland Paris! This page has shared a lot of sad times but it’s great to be able to share such a magical time in Anayas life!
