Lothian Centre for Inclusive Living LCiL is a person-led organisation supporting disabled people through the services we provide - enabling them to live as independently as possible.

The main aims of the Lothian Centre for Inclusive Living are:

Provide a range of services to support Independent Living, developed and managed by and for disabled people. Support the right for disabled people to live independently and take control of their own lives. Provide the opportunity for disabled people to further their own personal and professional development, including through peer support. Connecting Disabled People, those with long term health conditions and carers to peer support focused on all areas of social care.

Our peer support groups provide a safe space to connect with others through shared experiences with the aim to strengthen knowledge, skills and confidence in all aspects of Self-Directed Support (SDS) and available social care options.

The sessions are welcoming, relaxed and informal. We focus on bringing people together to discuss the aspects of SDS that matter to them.
