Tickets for the next Soundbath will go on sale this Friday night at 9pm (eventbrite decided this not me! 🤷‍♀️😂)

Friday 6th March 7pm

The Worm Moon in March symbolizes spiritual awakening, rebirth, and transition, marking the end of winter and the start of spring. As the ground thaws, this full moon signifies thawing internal emotions, encouraging personal growth, shedding old layers, and preparing for new beginnings. It is a time for reflection, cleansing, and nurturing new intentions.

💛Maybe write down some things you’d like to let go.
💛Maybe let go of something that plays on your mind, that feeling where you wish you’d done better?
💛Forgive yourself.
💛You know what? Let that s**t go.
💛Burn that piece of paper, tear it up, whatever feels good for you.
💛But LET IT GO!

Use this session to…

💛Make way for the good stuff.
💛Visualise it, as if it was already here.
💛Level up to that higher vibration.

ONLY LOVE
🙏💛

The Human Body at Peace with Itself - Tsongkhapa

I first heard this during a meditation with so I thought it would be nice to share at the Meditation Soundbath Event on Friday. If you were there, I hope you enjoyed it.

It can feel scary when we are reminded of how fragile this life is.
The reality that none of us really know what’s round the corner.
But, it can also be highly motivating, as a reminder to grab every day with both hands.

Every single breath is a gift 💛

The human body, at peace with itself,
Is more precious than the rarest gem.
Cherish your body - it is yours this time only.
The human form is won with difficulty,
It is easy to lose.
All worldly things are brief,
Like lightning in the sky;
This life you must know
As the tiny splash of a raindrop;
A thing of beauty that disappears
Even as it comes into being.
Therefore set your goal;
Make use of every day and night
To achieve it.

To a mouse, by Robert Burns 1785

Invited along with a few friends from I was delighted to be asked to recite this at Portobello High School for their Burns night tonight.

I’m born on Burns Day, and finally got around to learning some poems last year.

I love this one. As the story goes, he was working at the farm where his family lived, and came back feeling upset after turning a wee mouse up in her nest with the plough, he wrote this poem the very same day in November, 1785.

It’s really about connection to nature, and how the wee mouse is fortunate to be living in the present moment. Unlike us humans, always feeling troubled by what’s happened in the past or coming in the future.
