On this Remembrance Sunday 2025:

'They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.'

Public Access Defibrillators (or PAD) is a simple-to-use device that can restart a heart during a sudden cardiac arrest.

The core principle in Scotland is that they are designed for use by the general public, with no training required.

In this post we have shared the answers to three frequently asked questions about PADs, which are:

- Do you need training to use a defibrillator?
- Can I hurt someone using a PAD?
- Will a defibrillator help someone who is having a heart attack?

As part of our campaign we'll be sharing more tips and information like this, so follow along to find out more life-saving advice❤️
