The Salisbury Centre

The Salisbury Centre Holistic Education Centre Unifying Mind, Body and Spirit

Since 1973 we have offered educational courses, workshops and therapies for spiritual, emotional and physical well-being. The inter-connectedness of body, mind and spirit, as symbolised in the Celtic Trine, is the foundation of our work and we believe that healings and growth arise naturally from this recognition.

Help Our Seed Library Grow – Donate a Jar! 🫙

We need your help to get our seed library organised! We’re looking for donations of clean, empty jars to store our precious seed packets.

By donating a jar, you’re helping us create a thriving hub for gardeners to share and discover new seeds. It’s a small act with deep roots in our community!

Please ensure jars meet our needed size so the seed packets fit perfectly:
* Opening: At least 3 in. / 8 cm (wide mouths are ideal!)
* Height: Between 5-11 in. / 12-28 cm
*
Drop-off donations at The Salisbury Centre during our open hours. Thank you for helping our garden community grow! 🌱

What if decluttering could be more than tidying your home?
In this 3-week journey, we’ll approach decluttering as a spiritual practice – a way to cultivate gratitude, presence, and discernment. Together, in a supportive community setting, we’ll explore how letting go of the excess can make space for what truly matters.

* 3 weekly in-person sessions (90 minutes each)
* 2 optional online accountability sessions (body doubling), 2 hours each

 In-person sessions (Mondays, 6:30 – 8:00 PM):
* November 10
* November 17
* November 24

 Optional online accountability (Saturdays, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM):
* November 22
* November 29

Room:
Wellspring Room at The Salisbury Centre

Our first October Community Connection Feast is coming up!
20th October 18:30 - 21:00

It’s like the Community Supper you know and love - just upgraded. ☺ We will now put more emphasis on creating connections between different community members and newcomers, strengthening the web of our community one Feast at a time. 💛🙏💛

Also, we want to bring the spiritual significance of sharing food with others to the fore. It’s a real celebration of Life when a group of people gathers at one table! 🥘Hence, changing the name to “Feast.”

A new element is that we now encourage you to book through Eventbrite (not a requirement, but helpful for the hosts). This way, we are able to get a better gauge of the number of people coming.

Plus, there is the option to donate a few pounds if you can’t bring any food but want to contribute to the meal.

We hope to feast and connect with you soon!❤️🔥❤️

Let’s talk about the one thing we all have in common. 💀☕

Join us for Death Cafè, a safe and open space to discuss death, dying, and end-of-life choices. This isn’t a grief support group—it’s a life-affirming conversation to help us make the most of our finite time.

We’ll break the taboo one topic at a time. The format is simple: pick a subject from the bowl and join a candid, group discussion. Ever thought about:
• Cremation vs. burial? ⚰️
• Human composting? 🌿
• Your views on assisted dying?

Your Facilitators:
Alison and Robyn bring a wealth of experience, from Death Doula and Funeral Celebrancy training to Robyn’s 18 years as a birth doula, offering a unique perspective on the thresholds of life.
