- Professor Christopher John Butterworth, a pioneer in dental and zygomatic implant provision

- Professor Gordon Sydney Findlater, for his remarkable work as His Majesty's Inspector of Anatomy for Scotland and his outstanding contributions to surgical anatomy teaching and surgical practice.

- Professor Pukar Shrestha, for establishing Nepal's first successful renal transplant programme

- Dr Kevin Dominic Henry, for his groundbreaking work in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery education

- Professor Patricia Beattie, for her outstanding work as Chairman of the Scottish Colleges Foundation, Trustee of the General Synod (SEC) and her distinguished career as a nurse and academic.
