Delighted to have ‘Won’ Best Adult Ortho in the Dentistry Scotland Awards 2022 and also ‘Highly Commended’ for the Best Young Orthodontist (North) in the Clinical Dentistry Awards 2022
Every year I enter or get nominated for a select few awards and feel very humbled to have taken 2 for 2 this year. Providing expert care for my patients is the aim of the game and for me feedback from them and recognition from my professional peers is why I love doing what I do.

For growing kids with a large gap between the front teeth, I make a clear removable upper and lower jaw posturing appliance to enhance jaw growth improving both the bite and facial harmony. Much more discrete and more comfortable to wear compared to other traditional methods. I’ve seen some fantastic results with these appliances and kids get on great with them. 👌🏽We usually follow up a simple course of orthodontics with fixed braces to then perfect the teeth position and hold things after with clear retainers 😁

Sometimes as orthodontists... we are coaxed into taking teeth out to achieve the ideal aesthetics and bite. As you can see tho... you would never even know they are missing and the patient is delighted with her new perfect smile.

Some people like ‘the London look’... personally I think straight teeth with no gaps looks best... what’s your thoughts?...
