We’re delighted to welcome Romany, our latest addition to the team. Romany brings fresh energy, a strong foundation in Pilates principles, and a genuine passion for helping clients move well and feel confident in their bodies.

Having completed her Pilates teacher training last year, Romany is dedicated to delivering safe, supportive and effective sessions for all levels. Her teaching style is clear, encouraging and detail-focused, with an emphasis on alignment, breath, core strength and mindful movement.

Romany is committed to continuing her professional development and loves supporting clients at every stage of their Pilates journey — whether they’re brand new to the practice or looking to refine their technique. Her classes are welcoming, positive and designed to help each individual feel stronger, more balanced and empowered.

At Pilates 4 All, we love bringing our community together through thoughtfully curated events that inspire movement, connection, and wellbeing.

We’re currently exploring a small number of collaborative event opportunities with local businesses who align with our values - wellness, health, creativity, and community (we’re open to unique ideas beyond the obvious 👀).

Clare Shillinglaw is the founder and an instructor at Pilates 4 All. Practising Pilates since 2008, Clare delivers strength-driven, results-focused Pilates that helps people move better, feel stronger and train with confidence.

She founded Pilates 4 All in 2016 with a clear mission: to make Pilates effective, empowering and accessible for every body. Clare’s coaching style is motivating, supportive and down-to-earth, combining precise instruction with a results driven mindset.

Her classes focus on functional strength, core stability and mobility, offering intelligent, challenging workouts in a welcoming and energising environment.

Our Story

Hello! I’m Clare and I formed Pilates & Yoga for all in 2016.

After experiencing back, hip, neck and knee problems and having operations on my hips, Pilates became my saviour. I practised for many years before becoming and instructor, first in Pilates and Yoga came later to really hone my skill set. I would love nothing more than to pass on this fantastic way of body conditioning and hope that everyone can experience the benefits as I have done.

I teach in various studios and gyms all over Edinburgh including Edinburgh Leisure, Bannatynes, Edinburgh College, Nuffield Health and Village Gyms.

I also run my own private classes and small individual sessions.
