Booking is now open for the next "Pilates for runners" workshop. This 90 minute session is happening on Saturday 29th July at 10am and will explore how Pilates can complement your running, looking at both injury prevention and performance enhancement. It is suitable for those who already have some Pilates experience - come prepared for some challenges!

Calling all runners!
Dates are now confirmed for two Pilates workshops specifically designed for runners.
During these workshops (in person) we will explore how Pilates can complement your running looking at both injury prevention and performance enhancement. There’s quite a lot to fit in so these sessions will last approx. 75 minutes each and cost £15.

Wednesday 22nd June at 7.30pm (Booking open)
This session is aimed at those with no previous Pilates experience or perhaps have been practising Pilates for just a short while, but anyone is welcome!

Saturday 30th July at 10am (Save the date)
This session is more suitable for those with a good level of Pilates experience.

I can’t promise you’ll be able to turn into coal dust or leap across the rooftops but there are other benefits to making Pilates part of your routine! Here are just a couple:

- Restore balance to your body - becoming more aware of your own body and what it needs (eg flexibility, strength, balance, co-ordination and control) to move well and cope with the demands of day to day life.

- Looking after your mental health - taking time out to focus on movement (and actually moving!) can help reduce stress and boost your mood.

Get in touch if you would like to find out more about what Pilates has to offer. Classes are due to restart on 10th January. One-to-one sessions are also available if groups aren’t for you!

After 16 months embracing the virtual world of Pilates it has been exciting to have the opportunity to return to some face to face sessions. I am so grateful for this lovely new space that means we can get back into a studio. This is our new home for Monday evenings with Tuesday classes continuing on Zoom. The new block starts on 9th August – remember to book your space!
