Here's just a few highlights from 2025..
We were on The One Show - you can see the clip via our website.
We led the Dad Strike at the Scottish Parliament - participating in the campaign to get improved paternity leave led by the Dad Shift
We had a mention in the House of Commons as Scott Arthur MP joined the debate for International Mens Day
We had some awesome Father's Day celebrations in Edinburgh, Glasgow and North Ayrshire!

We're looking for some new members to join our board - could that be you?
Dads Rock supports a diverse number of communities and families, as such we value board members who can represent the perspectives of these groups.
Our Board meets quarterly (usually online) to contribute to the ongoing development and ex*****on of the Dads Rock Strategy. You will play a critical role in leading the charity, driving our fundraising strategies and bring a solid networking background that can help our aims.
Specifically we are looking for a Chair and a Treasurer at this time.
Next week Edinburgh Dads are visiting the fair thanks to our friends at Edinburgh Christmas 🫶

Huge shout out to our fundraisers in 2025!
Top Fundraiser this year was Jamie More who raised £1,162 running the half marathon back in May 👏
Other fundraisers have run, walked and abseiled raising essential funds and we are so grateful that they picked us! 🤘

If you're struggling with your mental health, or having trouble bonding with your baby, realise you're not alone. Lots of new dads struggle too. We can help - we have a network of peer support volunteers and can match you with someone to talk things through.

We improve outcomes for Children by inspiring their Dads and Families.
We offer:
Playgroups- For Dads/Granddads/Male carers. We currently run 2 playgroups for Dads and their kids (aged 0-5 yrs). Our Saturday playgroup is in Granton and Sunday playgroup is in the City Centre.
Young Dads- We support vulnerable Young Dads, aged 25 or under. Providing vital coaching for them.
School Work - We work with primary schools helping develop parental engagement and acting as positive male role models to the children within the schools. In secondary schools we promote gender equality, fatherhood and its importance to both boys and girls, for whom starting a family may not be far off.
Outreach- We provide story and song sessions for local nurseries.
Workshops - We run a range of workshops for Dads to attend, such as Antenatal, First Aid, Sleeping, Feeding and Hairstyle.
Father’s Day family event- For the last six years we’ve been running a free family on father’s day, in 2019 it was held at Tynecastle Park in Edinburgh, with over 2000 people signed up on the day.
