Kind Earth Wellness My classes are open to all levels. Beginners as well as advanced students. Each pose can be modified to your personal needs.

Martina Berger is a holistic women's wellness practitioner offering Forrest Yoga, Yin, Restorative, 50+, Pregnancy and Mom & Baby Yoga classes, Hypopresives, Reflexology, Reiki, Indian Head Massage and Nutrition in Edinburgh, UK. To me only way to gain most of any form of Yoga practice is to nurture both body and mind. That is the only way to become pain free and/or go further. I also teach how to practice with the attitude of pleasure and treasure rather than 'no pain, no gain'. My classes are Forrest and Yin Yoga inspired and I use essential oils to deepen the effect of Asanas (oils are not used Pregnancy Classes). From my own pelvis, low back injuries and prolapse I have specialised to help women in Prenatal and Postnatal period to either fully avoid them or reduce the pain as much as possible. I am also a hypermobility expert, being hypermobile myself, strengthening muscles in the right way I know is priority. Join me in becoming stronger mentally and physically the healthy way.

🍂 Autumn, I love! Being in nature isn’t just for the senses, it’s good science too: forests release natural compounds called phytoncides 🌲 which can boost your mood, ease stress, and even support your immune system. I don't care what they're called - they're my new best friends.

When in doubt, go out. That was my motto when boys were little. Now, I can actually focus on it all, every step I take.😍

And if you join us on Monday and Thursday mornings, you’ll know our warm-ups are literally made for long walks—so why not take that energy into the woods or along a leafy path, and let autumn work its magic? 🧡

When I'm not teaching Forrestyoga my interests include getting the out from the stone (for obvious reasons 🤣), being involved in a real car chase, eating tons of and .

Our last location , , and well the closest at the moment. 🧙

To be fair that was my main goal, but as we did have a few more days we decided to and which out of two is better, what is , from where can you send Little Prince post, and how is made!

How saved my day...

My plan was simple. I had a few errands around the city, the sun was shining, the day free to do them in peace. I've popped my mobile to charge during our class of awesomeness. By that, I mean all the ladies who make my day every time they come to the mat.💖

The finished and I was on the way. Thirty-seconds on the bus I'm checking Google Maps for my first location and phone's battery goes into red. The charger was not plugged in. I didn't check. It is usually plugged in. I could feel (that's a nice name for rasing rage in me) building up and steam trying to get out of my ears. 😡If my phone wasn't dying I would be fueling that in a long talk about the unfairness of blabla. Instead, I did .💨

What's box breath? Simple version - breathe in, counting to four. Hold your breath for 4 seconds. Slowly exhale for 4 sec. Hold your breath for 4 sec. Repeat as needed.🌬️

Until two weeks ago, I have never heard of the box breath. Then I watched with . And there it was. Breath that firefighters use to prepare for stepping into the fire. Breath that Navy SEALs use to stay calm and improve their concentration in extremely tense situations.💫

Two days after watching Limitless, I was teaching on teacher training and guess what. did pranayama and meditation, and there it was again.🧙

When something show up like that in my life, I know there is a reason. And I pay attention.

In the last few seconds my phone had, I've memorized all the addresses and buses I need to get to them. I found the places I was looking for the old-fashioned way - by talking to people. I met some really lovely humans. Had a couple of laughs. I did all my errands and even some that were not planned. It was an awesome day. ✨

I told my boys of this. My son said - I did the same before my French test today. It really helped. (He likes to watch documentaries with me)🥰

When I started practicing , were not my favourite to put it mildly 🤣 All are intense, but , when done properly, feels like a hyper speed connection to your deepest .

They are one of my favourites today. I feel every part of my body coming alive, from the tip of the toes to the top of the head. You can literally feel your body strength support you! Super important for .

The photo is from Teacher Training where I had pleasure to teach about and to a very lovely group of future . I absolutely love to hear reactions when people try Forrest Yoga for the first time🥰

What has taught me - if I want to gain most out of my practice, I have to immerse myself fully in. With my breath, with my focus, and activating all the parts of my body. Including hands.

We more often than not forget about the hands. They hang in the air when the arms are lifted. We put all the weight onto them when we hold inverted poses.

Especially in inversions, the hands take on the role of our feet. And just like we want our feet to be our safe strong base, we want our hand to support our joints, shoulders, neck.

Don't let your pose stop at the wrist. Feel for building the strength in each of the fingers, throughout the whole hand.

And if you are a visual learner like me - imagine a shining light streaming through your active hands. Every finger, a ray of light.
