Thank you to everyone who joined our pilot life drawing sessions 🌱 

Because of your support, we’re excited to continue with fundraising Untutored Draped Life Drawing, now running every second and fourth Saturday starting the 24th of January.

Open to both beginners and experienced artists, we welcome you to join us in a calm, cozy evening with relaxed music, a life model, and time to draw at your own pace alongside our host

🐈‍⬛ 7–9pm (doors 6:30, poses start 7:15)
📍 Easter Road, Leith
🐈‍⬛ Sliding scale tickets
☕ Tea & biscuits included

All proceeds support the CATS Mental Health Fund, helping keep creative therapy accessible in our community.

If you are considering or are curious about creative therapy, we offer free initial consultations with our HCPC-registered Art, Music and Dramatherapists.

You will have the chance to talk through what support might work for you, including choice of rate and choice of length of therapy, where it’s safe and appropriate.

CATS offers:

🐾 No means-tested sliding scale

🐾 Pay-What-You-Can time-limited therapy (limited availability)

🐾 Art, music and dramatherapy with HCPC Registered Therapists

If you are considering therapy, we offer free initial consultations and the chance to talk through what support might work for you, including choice of rate and choice of length of therapy, where it’s safe and appropriate.

We are excited to share that CATS has been put forward for a Leith Chooses public vote 🌈

Our project, Queerly Embodied, is a donation-based, q***r, body-positive movement group supporting connection, wellbeing and community care in Leith led and created by dance and movement therapist Jenni !

Two funding updates as CATS continues to grow

We are grateful to have received funding from Firstport, supporting the foundations of CATS as we work towards long-term impact and self-sustainability.

We’ve also been put forward to the public vote for a community-led fund where local people decide which projects receive support.

We’ll be sharing more details very soon about how you can get involved.

Early support helps us build carefully, ethically, and with community at the centre.

Our final Life Drawing of the year !

A relaxed, cosy evening of untutored draped life drawing, led by Abi Pooley and featuring as our life model for the evening.

Expect calm vibes, soft music, biscuits, coffee, and a space to unwind.

Every ticket supports the CATS Mental Health Fund, helping us offer low-cost and free community programmes.

Last 2025 session: This week 19:00–21:00 Easter Road
We’ll be back bi-weekly from mid-January, perfect for easing into 2026 with a little creative grounding.
