Lockdown has been tough for many of us, and some days are just better than others.
Waking up to the quiet peace of snow this morning, was balm to my soul. Having grown up in a country that has no snow , I am always excited but the sight of snow, enjoying the beauty, stillness and the calm of snow ( know this may not be fun if you are travelling in it). This morning. The snow called me out, and having not taken my camera out for months, I did today. Walking along the river, watching my village in it’s stillness and then finding the magic of ice crystals, imagining a symphony with the water, and for a while I was transported into a magical place. I have been finding the lockdown a struggle these last couple of weeks, and after this walk I remembered, Mother Earth always looks after us, and finding beauty today, reminded me that earth is such beautiful place to be, and the reminder that life moves in cycles and all will be well. The birds too add their song and watching them search and work so hard for food and survival, I am reminded that I can do this, we can all do this.
