We pride ourselves in the gaining the best results with our clients. We believe everything is in moderation and that life is for living. However, we understand that our health is our wealth. We need to look after it and do it well. We aim to change as many peoples lives as possible with our comprehensive services. Strength Training For Women 🏋️♀️
Ladies with so much amazing information out there now on how strength training can help you.
Its a must in your training regime
Strong muscles means strong bones
Strong bones reduce the incidence of osteoporosis
The NICE guidelines state that:
1.Over 2 million women in England and Wales have Osteoporosis
2.Women are at a greater risk of osteoporosis due to the reduction in oestrogen production at menopause.
3. The incidence of osteoporosis increases to 2% at age 50 and over! Then at around 50% at 80
Inactivity causes around a 3-8% reduction in muscle mass per decade 😔
A simple resistance training programme for a minimum of 10 weeks has shown an increase in lean muscle mass, reduced body fat and increased metabolic rate.
strength training can also assist in reversing type 2 diabetes, improve cardiovascular health, reduce blood pressure and improve bone density as we mentioned.
So the next time your coach asks you to lift heavier! Go for it!

Let’s be honest, this is when motivation dips 🩵
But here’s how to stay on track:
1. Book your sessions ahead of time
2. Lay your clothes out the night before
3. Keep meals simple, don’t overcomplicate things
4. Track wins, not just weight
5. Speak to a coach when you feel stuck
It’s completely normal to wobble, just don’t stop altogether
A slower week doesn’t mean failure
