We all have moments to create portals of light, to share a message of love and community, hold space for one another and celebrate each others souls and beautiful essence. Opening portals of light is the biggest gift we can give to each other as a collective - it raises our vibration and instantly attracts positivity which is cosmically contagious. Yet why do many of us forget how incredibly powerful we are, instead settling for fear, discomfort and unhappiness. This is where I give a BIG sigh and wish we would stop settling for mediocre ‘okayness’ and slight moments of happiness, but instead stand in our power and our true authentic essence, yes that incredible soul who’s birthright is happiness, peace and LOVE 🩷

The undiscovered vast universe out there birthed us - the living breathing organisms connected to it all. We are made from the same particles as stars so why be small when we were meant to be sparkling portals of light 💫

It’s cold out and there’s not much day light at the moment but go deep into your heart and shine your essence with the world, because we all need it !!

Samhain is here - a time to lift the mask and start inner work for powerful emotional decluttering, embracing transformation also known as the phase of the dark feminine ‘she who walks between worlds’

The nights grow longer so we go deeper into ourselves. The energy of Samhain is ideal for reflecting on habits, beliefs, and situations that no longer serve us. It’s the perfect opportunity to let go of old pain, trauma, or behaviour’s to make space for new energy.

This is a sacred time to honour ancestors and those who have come before us, giving life and forming our path. An opening to connect to their wisdom and ask for healing or guidance. A time to remember LOVE.

The veil between worlds is thin and your divine inner goddess emerges, blossoms and starts the shadow work of dissolving ego, attachment, fear.

A time to remember all that has been lost

On World Mental Health Day I’m delighted to share I am now a qualified Mental Health First Aider.

Kind words, a smile, hug or ‘how are you?’ can make a big difference to the 1 in 5 people living with a mental health condition in the U.K.

A Mindful exercise to do when you or someone you know is feeing overwhelmed:

5️⃣things you see
4️⃣things you hear
3️⃣things to touch
2️⃣things you smell
1️⃣thing you taste

Keep conversations open and judgement free - don’t give a lecture when someone needs a hug. Have regular walks in nature allowing heaviness to dissolve and lift away. Learn breathing exercises. Be gentle with yourself or others.

And of course, BE KIND 🩷

We are reaching the end of a very karmic eclipse portal with a New Moon and partial Solar Eclipse today, in the sign of Virgo.

There are four eclipses a year, two of which are about the past releasing the past. Those are called South Node eclipses, and that’s what this one is.

You’re being shown what needs to be cleared from your past, whether it’s your personal past or a karmic past or many lifetimes ago.

Anything that’s unresolved in your life - that could be people, or anything that’s holding you back. By releasing these things, you’re able to live more in your integrity.

We add Virgo to this, it’s about learning to trust your higher wisdom, your inner truth and intuition - instead of constantly overriding your instincts. It’s about letting go of the shadow of Virgo, which is about letting go of your control programs.

You’re being asked to examine your attachment to control and how you use control in ways that’s not supportive. Eclipse portals are like times outside of time, so mysterious, unusual, and magical things can happen.

It’s a powerful time to acknowledge what’s coming up, but now you’re being called to let things go and trust in something deeper.

Trust that you will be held if you let go of these control patterns. By understanding and working with this energy, you can leap forward towards your destiny.

I recently watched a with sharing her personal story of looking for signs from her husband who had passed away. It blew my mind as I remembered something really special that happened to me over 20 years ago, after the passing of my father. One evening when I was overcome with grief and crying into a facecloth (so my son couldn’t hear me), I asked my dad to show me a sign, any sign, just let me know he was ok and somehow still around. The next day I was travelling to London to see (a world class medium) at a Hayhouse event and I needed to learn more about mediumship to help heal my heart and assist my spiritual path. I had a great day at the London event and when it was about to finish, Gordon Smith pulled a piece of paper from his pocket and started reading from it. He shared with us all a man now in world of spirit who had passed away suddenly from a heart attack, wouldn’t leave him alone last night while he was relaxing in his hotel room. This man was telling Gordon about his life and personal details only a family member or loved one would know. I knew this was my dad, and the specific details being shared was his life, so I stood up infront of over 200 people, cheeks blushing and my heart pounding saying I can relate to this, this is my dad. Everyone gasped as I shared the story of crying into a facecloth the night before and asking dad to give me a sign, which of course he was, at that exact moment, by insisting Gordon Smith wrote down all the messages and shared them with me. That moment changed my life forever knowing love never dies. I still have the piece of paper and as I am sitting writing this, I’m smiling remembering how powerful and transformative love is. Some bonds are unbreakable. Look for the signs and they will find you. Oh, and never stop loving 🩷

Throw back to the 90’s when I was the face of the Fringe magazine. I remember this photo shoot big time - lying in the meadows surrounded by grass, severe hay fever and no anti histamines, sun directly shining in my streaming eyes and a determined photographer looking for his shot. What a laugh, I always wondered how this pic made the front cover?!

Edinburgh comes alive when the festival comes to town with artistic talent from all over the world. As a local, and working in it, well that’s another story…😂

Yep, it’s that time again! Mercury, the planet of communication, travel and technology, is turning retrograde from 18th July until 11th August in the fire sign, Leo. For the next several weeks, we will experience issues in many realms of our lives, particularly in the way we express ourselves. Spend extra time thinking about what you want to accomplish and how you can make it happen. Be mindful of the words you say to yourself and others.
