A Christmas message from Tim Cocking, Founder and CEO:

2025 has been another tremendous year for Bright Care in so many ways and I am incredibly grateful to all our employees and clients for their continued trust and support.

This year, we have continued to welcome new team members, open new branches and had the privilege of serving even more customers. Each milestone is a testament to the dedication, compassion and professionalism that define the Bright Care team.

As the year draws to a close, I find myself reflecting with deep gratitude, both for the meaningful work we get to do and for the people who make it all possible. There have been many moments to celebrate, and Iโ€™m delighted to share some of my own highlights from this remarkable year. Last week our Glasgow branch hosted a Christmas Fair for staff, clients and families. They did a fabulous job of decorating the office and created a lovely festive atmosphere.

Some very talented Carers made goodies to sell and staff ran a tombola with all proceeds going to Alzheimer Scotland. They also set up a drop off point for the food bank and were delighted with the incredibly generous donations. ๐Ÿฅฐ

A huge thank you to everyone who came along, bought and donated. ๐ŸŽ„

Signs of decline - a summary
Spotting the early signs of decline in an elderly loved one is one of the most important steps in ensuring their safety, wellbeing and ongoing independence at home. Many families find themselves caring for older relatives, and it can be difficult to know when โ€˜normalโ€™ ageing shifts into something that may require more support. Read more in our signs of decline summary. Link in the comments.

Our client, Viv, sadly lost her husband earlier this year. Following his passing, Viv was keen to get involved in more social activities and expressed an interested in joining a choir. Her Carer did some research and found One Accord Choir who meet locally every week. Viv's Carer supports her to attend these sessions which she really enjoys. We were delighted to see Viv perform with the choir in a "Classical Favourites" concert earlier this month and see the positive impact joining the group has had on her life.

It's wonderful to see our Carers finding ways to bring joy to the lives of their clients. ๐Ÿ’•
