We are Edinburgh - Portobello - based and provide Pilates with Joseph Equipment ( Reformer, Tower / Cadillac, Wunda Chair, Ladder Barrel and Spine Corrector), Mat Pilates classes form basic to advanced levels. Whether your goals are to strengthen your core, whole body, lose weight, change your body shape, improve your body awareness and strength, recover from injury, keep healthy , Pre or Post pregnancy, cope with life’s stressors or just generally feel more energised and alive, the Classical Pilates Method will work with YOU along the way. or Semi-Private Pilates sessions (Duet)? As part of a package, we offer you an Introductory Session with Sabrina, who will work with you to assess your priorities and create your specific, individualised Pilates exercise programme. Regular monitoring and evaluation of your progress will also be included in your pack of sessions, which will help to keep sessions enjoyable, fun and motivating. We also deliver Group Conquer Gravity Classes. Here’s what December really requires: Simple consistency.

People often lose their focus in December- as days are short and energy is low; we spend a lot of time on the couch, hibernating. It’s important to maintain gentle movement, articulating the spine slowly; so here is a quick action plan to keep moving with clarity and still prioritise ourselves during this super busy December month:

We need a baseline plan that keeps us anchored:

• dedicate 2-3 meaningful Pilates sessions on the mat, per week.

• A reason not to stop: stay out of pain, retain your mobility: what’s your reason?

• Clarity on what matters: this doesn’t need to be as full on as we might ordinarily be in terms of your Pilates practice

• Remind yourself that you are still progressing.

- Be self accountable.

Let’s commit to gently articulating the spine in our roll ups every time we get onto the mat: remembering to not throw ourselves up to open the joints, but rather thinking of the exercise as ‘slow motion’ lifting of the inner thighs, pressing of the back of the legs and lifting the abdominal wall muscles. All three work together like a family. By pressing the thighs together and the back of the legs, and lifting the inner thighs, we nourish the spine, making the whole exercise effective.

This 4-week course is designed for beginners and those new to Pilates or those looking to restart Pilates after a long absence. We will cover the basic principles of Pilates and help you develop an understanding of the method. These sessions are designed for 3 people maximum, and it will involve working on the Pilates apparatus: a combination of Towers, Mat, Magic Circle, Pre-Pilates and Standing exercises from the classical Pilates syllabus.

Advanced four-week block booking is essential to ensure sustainability and results.

You can join at at any point within a block if there are spaces.

Classes have a maximum of 12 participants due to the level of guidance and coaching required.

Today, I'm celebrating double the love! 🙏🎂 My incredible mother, who brought me into this world, and the legendary Joseph Pilates, who created the method that fuels my passion. What are the chances?! ⭐️Thank you, Mother, for life itself, and thank you, Joseph Pilates, for giving me a career that changes lives. And a huge thank you to for remembering it's Joseph's birthday and joining her first Pilates session with a sweet treat! 😋 You're part of our pilates family now!

We are Edinburgh based and provide Pilates with Joseph Equipment, Fitness Pilates classes form beginner to advanced levels. Whether your goals are to lose weight, change your body shape, improve your strength, recover from injury, keep healthy pre or post pregnancy, cope with life’s stressors or just generally feel more energised and alive, physical health will work with YOU along the way. As part of a package, we offer you a free initial consultation with Sabrina, who will work with you to assess your priorities and create your specific, individualised exercise programme.
