Hello lovely friends & readers of The Breath 🤍

How are you?
Isn’t it beautiful to feel the light returning? Even though the clock change can feel a little strange (those early mornings!), there’s something so uplifting about the longer evenings and the signs of spring beginning to appear.

The buds on the trees, the soft light, the sense of something shifting…

I always know the seasons are turning when the Magnolia begins to bloom, followed by the cherry blossom, such a gentle reminder that brighter, warmer days are on their way 🌸

We had a really special time at our Spring Equinox Workshop. Together we set intentions for the months ahead, writing them down and planting them in pots, covering them with earth and adding seeds, a simple, meaningful way to watch our intentions grow.

As a group, we also set an intention for peace in the world 🤍 Here are our seedlings so far… I’ll keep you updated as they grow.

With Easter coming up, I know many of you will be spending time with family and friends. Just to let you know, classes will be running as usual:

🧘‍♀️ Monday 6pm — Cramond Kirk
🧘‍♀️ Tuesday & Thursday 9:30am — Blackhall St Columba

Everyone is always welcome.

I’ll be away in early May for my annual retreats in Fife (fingers crossed for warmer weather and a slightly less chilly sea!). Classes will resume from Monday 11th May, with a small change to the Tuesday class that week. I’ll share more details closer to the time.

I look forward to seeing you soon, on the mat or maybe even for a coffee ☕🤍

Sometimes creativity doesn’t disappear… it just gets quiet.

When life feels full, busy, or heavy, there’s less space for ideas to land.

And that’s okay.

Creativity isn’t something you force.
It’s something you allow.

It returns in the pause,
in the breath,
in the moments where you stop trying so hard.

So if you’re feeling stuck today, take it as a sign to soften, not push.

Step outside.

Hello lovely readers of The Breath 🤍

How are you? I hope you’ve managed to get outside this weekend and enjoy the beautiful sunshine and blue skies. What a treat it has been a welcome change and so uplifting for the mind and body.

With so much difficult news in the world lately, it can feel overwhelming at times. I truly believe it’s important to gently bring our focus back to the positive things in life and try not to become too caught up in what is outside of our control.

With this in mind, I’d love to invite you to my next Spring Equinox Workshop.

🌸 Saturday 21st March
🕙 10am – 12pm
📍 OMH Therapies, Atholl Place

The Spring Equinox is a beautiful moment in the year when day and night are in perfect balance. It’s traditionally seen as a time to set intentions and plant seeds for the months ahead.

How would you like the rest of this year to unfold for you?
What are your goals, hopes, or aspirations for 2026?

During this workshop we’ll take time to reflect, set intentions and create space both in the mind and the body.

Through yoga we will gently open the body, release tension and clear blocks, making space for new energy and possibilities. We’ll finish with a deeply nourishing Savasana, allowing everything to settle and integrate.

A quiet, supportive space to pause, reset and reconnect.
