We've been in the LCTS archives! Here's some photographs we came across way from back in 2003/2004 - yes, well over 20 years ago! Hopefully a happy memory of you or a loved one. We are fairly sure that some of these were taken at our member organisation St. David's Bradbury Day Centre, Newtongrange alongside other local member groups.

**Festive Volunteering Opportunity**

LCTS are partnered with Edinburgh Community Food to deliver their Discover! food boxes to families around Edinburgh during the school holidays. We are putting the call out for any volunteers who would be available to help deliver these food boxes on either the 22nd or 23rd of December between 7:30am and 2pm. No driving experience required, you just need to be physically fit enough to carry the boxes.

ECF have a volunteer open day on Thursday the 27th of November at 11am at their Leith site if you are interested in exploring further volunteering opportunities with them.

💚🚐 LCTS is proud to reflect on the message that Community Transport is 'More than a Minibus' as we continue to celebrate Community Transport Week 2025 💚🚐

We recently attended the Community Transport Association’s parliamentary reception at Holyrood, joining others from across Scotland to highlight the vital role Community Transport plays in keeping people connected.

At LCTS, we see every day how accessible, inclusive transport supports and strengthens our communities — powered by our incredible staff, volunteers, and partners.

Continuing the theme of 'More than a Minibus' for this year's Community Transport week, we wanted to remind everyone that here at LCTS we collect medicine blister packs for recycling.

Last year we responded to local demand, as a commitment to our sustainability goals and supporting our local communities. Since then we have had an amazing and ongoing response! Blister packs can either be handed in to one of our offices or given to an LCTS driver on any of our minibuses.
