What better way to teach our children about food then to get them involved in growing it?

We enjoyed getting our fingers green yesterday and planted few things including lettuce, tomatoes, corn, cucumber, courgettes, peppers and herbs.

Looking forward to the harvest already 😉

My first ever hot crossed buns!

I have wanted to bake them for years and finally I have faced the challenge.

They turned out pretty well and taste so much better than the shop bought. It's definitely our new Easter tradition!

My recipe:
1 cup spelt flour
1 egg
1 cup milk (dairy or plant)
pinch salt
1 tsp baking powder
1 tbs melted butter (or coconut oil)

Topings: limitless possibilities but make sure you squeeze a bit of lemon juice over-this truly elevates any pancake 😉
